Braai4Heritage Tour Day 7: Augrabies

Augrabies is a waterfall in the Orange River and it situated 120km west of Upington and arguably the greatest of all South African waterfalls. The name derives from its original Khoi name Ankoerebis, meaning the “place of big noises”. The falls are 56 meters high, and below it is a gorge that runs for 18km. It was the site of arguably the most scenic braai I will ever have in my entire life.
