National Braai Day events: 24 September

On 24 September, join National Braai Day and Castle Lager in an attempt to break the world record for most people braaing at the same time!

Enjoy a great day around the braai with friends, top South African acts and ice cold Castle Lager!  Braai drums will be provided at the venues.  Tickets on sale via Computicket outlets nationwide.

You will register to participate in the Guinness World Record on the day, and will receive complimentary Castle Lager braai tongs as well as boerewors for the record attempt.

You will be allowed to take in meat, Castle Lager and soft drinks, but no other alcoholic beverages will be allowed.  There will be a beer tents with Castle Lager and selected SAB products that will be on sale at the venues.

    That feeling you have when you yourself make the fire, braai the meat, cook on the side, prepare the table and your mind just wants to enjoy the meal. POOF all of a sudden unexpected visitors arrive. Then sadly only you are left with the unwanted meat,fat and bones. I’m not braaing for a loooonggg time.

    What an awesoome day! The event went perfectly, rain came down a bit but the acts, the amazing vibe and general atmosphere made up for it. Castle Lager, this must be an annual event. DbN Rockzzzz Always!

    Newlands was a waist of time and we ended up at home having a gr8 day. that was more of a “no u can’t do” event. i think we have the right to say that Newlands was a bolls-up coz there was not even proper parking. . . !!!!!!
