Everybody is well acquainted with the original Braai4Heritage song “Our Heritage” performed by Die Heuwels Fantasties, JR, HHP and the Soweto Gospel Choir. It was recorded and released a year ago in celebration of National Braai Day on 24 September 2009. Today, exactly two weeks ahead of National Braai Day 2010, the remix of that song is released.  Friend and producer of JR, Mason Black, did the remix. In addition to the artists performing in the original song, the 2010 remix now also features Jack Parow. Johnny de Ridder did the final mix.

The message of the song, and what this all star cast of artists and producers wants to portray with the song, is: South Africa, and braaing in South Africa is fantastic. We call on all South Africans to celebrate that, by ligting a fire and having a braai on 24 September.

To reiterate: The song can be downloaded for free. If you are a DJ, you may also play the song on air for free. Radio stations play listing the song does not have to pay anything to for that either.
