Butchery in George

If you are about to braai and are looking for a butcher in George, Van Rensburg’s is the place. Van Rensburgs foods is an Southern Cape institution and renowned as one of the best butcheries in South Africa. The sheer variety of produce is awesome, but it’s only once you sample some of their signature cuts that you begin to appreciate the quality of meat that you are being served. I recommend you try: Geelsperske (peach) boerewors, Wind-dried lamb rib, blue cheese and fig boerewors, deboned and marinated leg of lamb. Toni Raschbichler, the general manager and head butcher, is a fully qualified, experienced Fleischer Meister – a distinction which he earned by studying in Europe for quite a few years.
