Drum Cover of Braaiday song

It just keeps getting bigger. The Braaiday song by Die Heuwels Fantasties, JR, HHP and the Soweto Gospel Choir has been number one on various national radio stations. The music video won some MK awards. The song was performed live at the 2010 SAMA awards. It’s been remixed by Mason Black featuring Jack Parow. And now, Cobus Potgieter has done a drum cover of the song as part of the The Fuego Series. For the uninformed, Cobus is a really big deal. The video went onto You Tube 3 days ago and has already been viewed 60,000 times. If you’re still not convinced, try and comprehend what he does at 2:14 on the video. This is what Cobus had to say about the braaiday song: “This is one of the songs I am most amped about in the Fuego Series. The song was released as the “theme song” or “anthem” to the now anually epic “Braai Day” in South Africa. And if you don’t know what a “braai” is.. Google it! It’s as South African as Nelson Mandela. True story.”
